New Account? How to Access Account View
Account View is an internet based software system that allows you to check the status of your investment accounts whenever you want to.
To log in to Account View for the first time, you will need: a device with internet access, access to the email address you used to setup your investment account, the last four digits of your social security number, and access to the phone you used to setup your investment account.
When you setup an investment account with us, you will receive an email directly from Account View with the subject "Account View Activation". When you open this email, click on "Activate Account View" to start the process. This link does expire 72 hours after we send it to you, but if you miss that window, just give us a call and we can resend you a new link.
When you click the email activation link, an internet browser will open and you'll be prompted to enter the last four digits of your social security number, and the email you used to setup your investment account. Enter both of those and click "confirm".
On the next page you'll be prompted to create a password that meets all the listed requirements. Enter your desired password into both of the password fields and click "confirm".
And now that you've created your password, you can login for the first time. Enter your username, which is your email address you used to setup your investment account, and then enter your newly created password on the next screen.
For extra security, you'll be prompted to verify your device. This is when you'll need access to the phone that you used to setup your investment account. Select a method to receive a verification code, either by phone call or by text message. You'll immediately receive that verification code to your phone, and you'll enter that code on the next screen and click "verify".
Finally you'll be presented with the online services terms and conditions to read and accept.
And that's it, that's how you setup Account View! More on exploring Account View in another video.
