Fall Call for Tax Returns

We’re checking in this fall with a special request: we want your most recent tax return!

Before I tell you why we want your tax return, PLEASE don’t email it to us. It contains your personal and identifiable information, and our top priority is keeping that information safe. So to send it to us, either bring your physical paper tax return to our office next time you’re here, OR head to our website and upload it via the secure file upload link in our Client Center. I mean it, don’t email it to us.

Your tax return is one of the most valuable tools we have to give advice about your financial situation. With a copy on file, our financial planning team can look for opportunities such as tax-loss or capital-gains harvesting, Roth conversions, and other strategies depending on your situation and your goals. And if you don’t know what those terms mean, it’s OK, it’s our job to know and explain it to you!

Tax planning is a year-round effort, not only an early-spring consideration. So send us a copy of your most recent tax return…not via email!...and our team will let you know what we think.
