Sharing Information

We have an obligation to keep your information safe and secure, and we take it seriously. We cannot disclose any of your personal information, or your account information, and we can’t even confirm or deny if you’re a client of ours. But there may be scenarios in which you want us to share some of that information. Maybe you want us to talk about tax strategies with your accountant, or provide an account statement to your mortgage lender. You can give us permission to do so!

This form allows you to customize the permission you grant us to share your information.

First, you’ll specify which accounts you want us to be allowed to share information about.

Then, you’ll specify the type of information we can share about those accounts. You can allow us to share everything, or just a balance, information about distributions/contributions, or even allow us to provide the third party account statements and tax forms.

Next you’ll tell us exactly who we can share this information with. That can be a specific person or people, or an organization or company.

And the last step, is to declare for how long you’d like to grant this permission. You can choose a specific date when permission will end, or you can choose to grant permission indefinitely.

A couple of final notes: if you get a new accountant, you’ll want to contact us to update your permissions. And also, you can have multiple versions of this form on file at once (like if you have two accounts and want separate people to have access to each of them).
