A quick Q&A with Lindsay:

  • What's your favorite place that isn't work or home?
    • Any place with family. All my favorite memories are at my parents' house or grandparents' house. I love that most of my family is within driving distance. I try to visit all of them often. And Whatcom Falls Park. My friends and I go walking there often and it is close enough to home that I can walk to the park. I also go walking there alone and listen to podcasts.”
  • What's a hobby or activity you love outside of work?
    • "Photography. I’m getting into painting too. I’m going to start painting some of the scenes of my favorite photos, my goal is to paint 3 paintings a week this whole summer. And dancing. I love all dancing. I used to Celtic dance and do ballet. I love swing dancing but my favorite is Contra dancing. I go contra dancing every two weeks in Fairhaven. I want to join the Cuban dance club in Bellingham that meets every Tuesday too."
  • What are you an expert in outside of work?
    • "Religious history. I’ve read the Bible from cover to cover and the Quran cover to cover. I would love to learn more. I made up my own religion once just for fun, not taking it seriously.”
  • What's your favorite book, podcast, movie, or show?
    • “Too many! Favorite movies: The Martian, Inside Out, Arrival, Knives Ou, and How to Train Your Dragon (I watch it any time I’m down because it’s a really good feel good movie). TV Shows: The Good Place, and Avatar the Last Airbender (I grew up on this and it is still the best show out there) Podcasts: An Arm and a Leg, Articles of Interest, Build for Tomorrow, Dear Hank and John, Radiolab, Song Exploder, and This is Uncomfortable.”
