Luke grew up in here in Bellingham, WA, where he attended Bellingham High School before moving abroad to earn his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. These days he’s back in Bellingham, living with his wife, Margarita.
Luke is grateful that his family taught him about finance and investments from a young age; he recognized that not everybody receives such guidance and so decided to pursue a career in financial planning to help people. Joining the West Invest team in 2024, he has since obtained his Series 65 license as well as his Life and Disability insurance license. He puts this training to use as a Paraplanner where he works closely with the financial advisors and directly with clients to support their needs.

- What’s your favorite fictional universe?
- The Pirates of the Caribbean universe. I think I just really like pirates, and I think Jack Sparrow is hilarious. Sometimes I listen to the soundtrack when I’m working from home.
- Where is your favorite/dream vacation destination?
- I can’t pick only one, so my favorite places I’ve been to have to be Italy, Slovenia, and Serbia. I love different experiences, culture, architecture, and food.
- What’s your go-to takeout meal when you don’t pack lunch?
- I always pack a lunch (and snacks). The only exception is when we’ve planned a team potluck.
- What’s your favorite part of your job?
- I love talking to clients, whether it be a phone call, if they stop by to chat, or if they’re here for a meeting. In my personal life I can be kind of quiet, and talking to clients every day unlocks a social energy I don’t always have!
